While in Summit County we were able to go on a few hikes. The weather was not what we had expected, so the hikes were cooler, and wetter than we thought they would be - nevertheless, we enjoyed our time and the views were always worth it! My favorite hike was Acorn Creek, we didn’t do the entire loop, just enough to get to Brittny’s favorite spot, the hill covered in yellow flowers. It was better than could be captured in a photograph. However, my absolute favorite part was the fields of purple flowers near the parking lot.

The abandoned remains of a cabin were also fun to photograph. My shoes were thoroughly soaked by the end of that portion of the hike, but again - worth it!
