This is part 2 of 2 from our summer vacation going west. We started in Colorado. I could vacation in Colorado every year, the Rockies are truly magnificent. I don't think I would ever tire of the scenery!

From Colorado we went to Washington State to visit family near Seattle. One of the days we took the ferry to the San Juan Islands. Beautiful! We even almost saw Orcas, they were in the area two days earlier! Still so fun even though we didn't see them for real, but we learned some fun facts about Orcas and then came home and watched Free Willy a couple days after vacation.
