This past week I had the privilege of doing the engagement shoot for my roommate and her fiance. We had so much fun together walking around San Isidro, even finding an antique stand in the artisan fair as well as hitting up the Boutique del Libro for some color-filled shots. 

It's Saturday. It's hot. It's time to create. iPhonography. Lemon Shoot inspired by "Lemons" in #OKDOTHIS. 

Upon my return to Argentina, a friend and I took a short trip to the mountain village of La Cumbrecita. It is a small town settled by a German family so everything has a German feel to it, including the food and architecture. 

I woke up this morning to an immense amount of fog, first thought: perfect day for a photo adventure.  Problem: no car available. Solution: call my sister in law to go on an adventure with me! 

My brother and sister in law have a favorite lookout over the valley where our family lives. They've been there several times since the summer and every time they go they tell me I have to go with them sometime. We decided it would be pretty to go sometime when there was snow - so when the temperatures plummeted and the snow began to fall, we began to make our plans.

For a few days right after Christmas I went to Colonial Williamsburg with my family. It has been a favorite family destination for years, especially at this time of year when it is beautifully seasonably decorated. I was more than excited to have an opportunity to take my camera to a familiar place that I hadn't really photographed before.

Every year my photography group goes to Puerto Madero one evening near the end of November. The idea is this...practice your night shots and then compare from year to year how you've improved.

In honor of my birthday on Tuesday I am officially launching the kaitlinshadle.com blog this weekend with my adventure to the Yacht Club Argentina 2 weekends ago. I spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon with some special friends of mine at the club by the river while we waited for their sons to come back from the sailing competition that had been going on all weekend at the club. 

On July 5th, my brother and his fiance arrive at the house with giant sparklers in hand. 25% off after the 4th = fun for the whole family. Nate and Danielle played with the sparklers, I of course had out my camera and Mom and Dad were on the deck enjoying it all. Turns out, the remote shutter release was a worthwhile purchase last week.
